Napp brings science-backed workplace napping to your office.

The cost of a fatigued workforce

Humans aren't designed to operate at full capacity all day. Cognitive performance naturally declines throughout the working day — and a break doesn't fix it. A walk, a coffee, a scroll through your phone — your brain is still on. What it actually needs is sleep.

The brightest companies in the world — Google, Nike, NASA — have known this for years. They built dedicated napping facilities for their employees because the evidence is unambiguous: a short, structured rest restores performance better than any other intervention.

Until now, the options were limited to expensive, bulky nap pods with no data layer — just a piece of furniture, not a programme.

Napp is different. A guided VR recovery session. A dedicated rest space we help you set up. A companion app that personalises every session and tracks outcomes your team can actually learn from.

Step by step

How It Works

Step 01

We come to you We come to you

Before the pop-up, we'll visit your space to scope the setup. Every office is different — we work with what you have to create the best possible recovery environment. Before the pop-up, we'll visit your space to scope the setup. We work with what you have to create the best recovery environment.

Step 02

The Napp space The Napp space

On the day, we set everything up. Each participant gets a VR headset, a reclining chair and a weighted blanket — a dedicated pocket of calm inside your office. On the day, we set everything up. Each participant gets a VR headset, a reclining chair and a weighted blanket.

Step 03

The session The session

Participants are guided through an immersive sleep journey via the Napp headset — a sleepscape of visuals and sound designed by sleep scientists to ease the mind out of work mode and into genuine rest. Participants are guided through an immersive sleep journey by sleep scientists. Sessions run for 30 minutes.

Step 04

The wake-up The wake-up

Each session ends with a gentle, graduated return — timed carefully to bring participants back before deep sleep sets in, so they wake up refreshed rather than groggy. Sessions end with a gentle return — timed carefully to bring participants back refreshed rather than groggy.

Step 05

After the session Feedback

We'll capture some quick feedback, and your employees will be back at their desks — restored, focused, and quietly grateful you gave them the gift of sleep. We capture feedback, and your employees are back at their desks — restored and quietly grateful.

Your Questions,
Answered.

We get this one a lot. It might feel like you're giving your employees permission to switch off — but actually, you're giving them permission to switch back on.

Here's the thing: cognitive performance doesn't stay constant throughout the day. There's a well-documented biological dip in the early-to-mid afternoon — alertness drops, reaction times slow, decision-making suffers. It's not a motivation problem, it's biology. As psychologist Daniel Pink documents in When: The Scientific Secrets of Perfect Timing, the afternoon dip is one of the most consistent and underappreciated facts about human performance.

No amount of coffee fixes it. A short nap does.

Your employees are already hitting that wall every afternoon. The only question is whether you give them a proper way through it — or leave them pushing through alone, making slower decisions and more mistakes until home time.

That's why the brightest companies in the world already let their employees nap.

Cognitive performance doesn't stay constant. Afternoon dips are biology, not motivation. A short nap restores performance better than any coffee.

We'll figure that out together. Before your pop-up, one of our team comes to your office to scope the space and design the setup around what you have.

For the beta pop-up, we run two sessions — one at 2pm and one at 3pm — with up to five participants per session. So a maximum of ten employees per pop-up day.

We keep the groups small deliberately. This is about quality of experience, not volume. We want every participant to have the best possible first encounter with Napp — and we want the feedback to be meaningful.

Each session slot is 45 minutes — 30 minutes for the nap itself, and 15 minutes for feedback and transition. We run two slots on the day, at 2pm and 3pm (when most people will hit their afternoon slump), so the whole thing wraps up by 4pm.

We'll arrive earlier in the day to set everything up, and we'll be out of your hair once we're done.

During the beta pop-up we collect participant names, email addresses, and post-session feedback responses. This data is held securely, used solely for the purposes of the Napp beta programme, and never shared or sold to third parties. Participants can request deletion of their data at any time. For more information on how we handle data, you can read our code of ethics.

The beta pop-up is completely free. As an early access partner, you'll also receive preferential pricing when Napp launches commercially.

We take everything away, analyse the feedback, and get to work. As a beta partner you'll be among the first to hear about what we're building next — and first in line when we launch the full Napp programme.

We'll also follow up with you directly to share what we learned from your pop-up and talk through next steps.

Napp isn't here to replace your existing wellbeing offering — we're here to fill a gap that almost every wellbeing programme misses: actual, measurable physical rest.

Meditation apps, mental health support, yoga sessions — these are all valuable. But none of them give your employees' brains the one thing that genuinely restores cognitive performance.
